Amenities

Tryall is located on the shores of the Caribbean approximately twelve miles west of Montego Bay.
Originally a sugar plantation and later a coconut plantation this 2,200 acre estate features an ancient but working stone aqueduct (which runs for two miles through the property), cannons along the beach and spectacular functioning waterwheel dating from 1834.
Tryall features all the amenities and activities of a country club including fine dining, tennis, water sports and - most notably - the legendary Tryall championship golf course.
The original Great House, with its breathtaking views to the Caribbean, is now the main clubhouse. The Lobby/Salon, Great House Restaurant, Bar, Terrace, Salon and Massage Centre and fitness centre are housed in the Great House. A private guest's pool overlooking the sea completes the clubhouse amenities.

Great House Villa Suites (12)
Adjacent to the graceful Georgian Great House itself the twelve Great House Villas look out over the golf course and the glittering Caribbean Sea. Each comes complete with a housekeeper/cook or housekeeper only, the choice is yours, should you wish your housekeeper to cook your dinner there will be an extra cost.
These one and two bedroom Villa Suites are located just a minute's stroll from the Great House, terrace, restaurant and bar, shops, commissary and the massage parlor and beauty salon. They are also conveniently located close to the main infinity pool.

Dining

Beach Cafe
Only feet from the water, at the base of the jetty, the Beach Café offers a varied menu and serves as a popular lunchtime and after golf meeting place.
Lunch is served daily at the Beach Café Terrace from 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Gazebo
Experience a uniquely romantic dining experience at our Beach Gazebo with your own personal butler. Reservations must be made in advance and you may select from a diverse menu.

Beach Barbecue
Our popular beach barbecue is held on Wednesdays and is a treat for all ages featuring live entertainment 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM.

Dinner by the Sea
On Friday night it's back to the beach for a menu featuring seafood and a musical theme. 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM.

Dining in Jamaica is truly a gourmet experience. Accomplished cooks tend to the culinary needs of each villa, making it tempting and enjoyable to take meals at home. If dining among friends and neighbors is more to your liking, the Club offers several dining options, each with its own distinctive setting.
Breakfast at the Great House is an invigorating way to start the day as the windows and doors are thrown open to the sea and morning breezes.
Dinner at the Great House Terrace is an elegant candle-lit affair featuring international and Jamaican cuisine with breathtaking views and the lights of Montego Bay twinkling in the distance.

Breakfast: 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM Continental, American and Jamaican breakfasts.
Dinner: 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM.
High tea is served daily in the Great House.
At night the bar is a lively gathering place. Weekly events, including a cocktail party hosted by the club's management and members and a beach barbecue highlight the social calendar.

    Tryall's Kids Club

    At Tryall, vacations are for parents and children alike.
    Tryall offers activities and services that allow you to enjoy all the elements of a grown-up getaway, while your children are entertained, cared for and close at hand. The Kids' Club offers daily activities which make full use of Tryall's amenities and the expansive grounds of the estate.
    We accommodate kids from ages 5 to 12, however, toddlers (accompanied by baby sitters) and teens are also welcome to join in on selected activities.
    At Tryall Kids Club kids are not just taken along on vacation,
    KIDS ARE on VACATION.
    Friendly, caring and professional babysitters are available for hire for a few hours or for full-time service.

    Tennis

    Perched high on the hill
    and cooled by a gentle breeze...
    If tennis is your game, Tryall Club will surely exceed your expectations for this relaxing and invigorating sport. You'll feel like a pro as alert ball boys chase down your aces and winners.
    The Club's center features a well-stocked pro-shop, weekly tournaments, an experienced team of instructors and hitting partners, and nine tennis courts:
    four Classic Clay and five Nova Cushion surfaces.
    Two courts are lighted for night play.
    DRESS CODE
    Please note that proper tennis attire is required.
    Pre-dominantly white apparel and tennis shoes must be worn. Running shoes or non-tennis black sole shoes are not allowed.
    WEEKLY CLINICS Please check the tennis program for times.
    Minimum 3 persons per clinic.
    Maximum 6 persons per clinic (US$ 15 per person).
    PRIVATE LESSONS are available seven days per week. Great instructions guaranteed!
    All ages and ability levels are welcome.

    Golf - CaribbeanWorld Magazine has named Tryall Golf Course as the 2005 Golf Course of the Year.

    Tryall's 18-hole, par-72 championship course was designed by Ralph Plummer and has played host to such prestigious international events as the Johnnie Walker World Championship, last won here by Fred Couples in 1995.
    An ideal time-tested mix of fun and challenge with holes that kiss the shoreline and flirt with the edges of jungle ravines, Tryall Club features the most celebrated golf course in the Caribbean.
    The signature par-three 4th hole incorporates the natural challenges of the Caribbean Sea and the Flint River, while the memorable par-four 7th hole provides a dramatic tee-shot through the stone pillars of the historic aqueduct that feeds the adjacent waterwheel.
    Tryall is famous for its caddies: lively, entertaining, experienced, dedicated - with an uncanny ability to track down wayward shots and to read the breaks on even the trickiest greens.

    ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
    Tipping is not mandatory. If your Caddie is courteous, helpful, gives accurate yardage, repairs ball marks, (all of which he has been trained to do), We recommend that you tip him accordingly. Caddie fee and tip may be paid through the Golf Pro Shop and charged to your account.
