Choose from one of Sunset’s three resort properties in
Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios. Weddings are performed in one of three
beautiful and scenic locations,
beachfront, Gazebos, our serene unspoiled tropical garden oasis.
DOCUMENTS
REQUIRED WHERE APPLICABLE:
All
documents including the wedding request forms must be notarized and sent to the
Resorts at least six weeks prior to the wedding
date and the originals shown to the wedding coordinator upon arrival at the
resort.
Upon receiving your documents a letter
will be sent from our office acknowledging receipt. Please note that a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to
confirm all wedding dates and time. For deposits toward receptions a
proposal will be done followed by a contract, which will display a payment
schedule. We ask that clients adhere to the payment schedule to avoid
cancellations or relocation of weddings.
We wish to advise you that
as our valued in-house wedding guests, the Resort allows non-residential
persons attending your wedding, access to the property half an hour prior to
the start of your wedding. We require that they stay within the immediate area
of the wedding at all times. As a policy, only resident guests are allowed on
the guest floors. We recommend that your non-resident guests come to the Resort
already dressed for your wedding. Should any of your guests wish to change the
resort offers a hospitality area for that purpose. Non resident guest will be
required to purchase a wedding pass.

Picture identification is
required to be left at the Front Desk for all passes issued.
This
policy and access as it relates to non-resident guests are strictly enforced.
We ask that this be clearly communicated to your guests prior to their arrival

anticipation of your interest we recommend that you take with you your favorite
wedding songs on a compact disc, as we may not have the songs of your choice.

SERVICE CHARGE
Receptions which utilize the days
Restaurant menu will attract a US $38.00 per person service charge.
All food and beverage costs
attract an additional 15% service charge.
A corkage fee of US $11.00 per
bottle is applicable to guests who wish to bring in wine/champagne.
The Resort can have floral
arrangements made on your behalf at an additional cost. However, should you opt
to use your own florist, please note that all arrangements must be verified
with the resort in order to ensure that they are within the resort policy. A service fee will be also charged.
MAKE
UP ARTIST & HAIRSTYLIST
We have a team of Salon
Specialist at the resort that will cater to your specific need. They have wide
experience in bridal hairstyles and make-up.
DEPOSIT/
PAYMENT POLICY
A 50% deposit is required on all
estimated charges to confirm wedding ceremony functions. The balance is due at
least thirty (30) working days prior to the event along with the final number
of persons attending. Payment can only be made by credit card, cash or managers
cheque. The Resort reserves the right to reassign rooms or location booked
based on total commitments without prior notice.
If deposits/payments are not
received by the specified review date, the booking may be subject to
cancellation. Re-instatement of space will be made only upon receipt of payment
and to the extent that function space is available.
Events cancelled thirty (30) days in advance will receive a full refund
or 50%. Events cancelled less than thirty days in advance will attract a 20%
cancellation fee based on total estimated charges. Events cancelled during the
Christmas season December 10-January 10,must be made at least forty-five (45)
days prior the event to avoid any penalties. All cancellations must be
submitted in writing, Refunds will be made by cheque only.
