Your cook will open an account at Chen's supermarket and pick-up your food there.
Accounts must be settled before check-out. Clover (the cook/housekeeper) can also take you to Falmouth Wednesday or
Friday for the open market for a tip of $600.00JA (around $10US). Clover will assist with transfers to and from the market
In Falmouth you can get fresh fruits and vegetables at much lower and reasonable prices. The supermarket in town is also less
expensive so it makes it even more worthwhile. It is a nice way to learn and begin to experience true Jamaican culture and socialization.
