    Spa - Follow the seaside trail to the world-class spa set in a 18th century great house at the edge of the sea. Surrounded by 10 acres of waterfront lawn and lush tropical landscaping, it is facing it's own secluded beach. This elegantly converted plantation house is a blend of old world charm and contemporary spa, housing the full service beauty salon, seven treatments rooms including a couples massage room, the Hydrotherapy Loft (outdoor treatment area) and the fitness center.     Entertainment - Entertainment varies nightly and may include bonfire lit beach picnic accompanied by familiar calypso tunes, a four course dinner and romantic dancing under the stars, or casual dining on Jamaican specialties followed by cabaret or folk music and dancing.

    -Round Hill makes the family holiday even more inviting for the whole crew! Enjoy the complimentary use of our PINEAPPLE KIDS’ CLUB, the perfect children’s program – Round Hill style! The program promotes fun and education with a host of options offering an active and imaginative holiday for children. Activities include nature walks, a creative assortment of arts and crafts, water sports and talent shows, reggae lessons and movie and story hour. The Pineapple Kids’ Club is open daily open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for children between the age of 3 and 12.

    Deluxe Oceanfront Rooms in Pineapple House (452 Sq. Ft.)

    Newly renovated and designed by Ralph Lauren, all rooms evoke tropical beach living.
    White stone floors, romantic four poster mahogany bamboo beds and sumptuous upholstered furniture
    from the Ralph Lauren home collection add to each and every guests' comfort. The colour accents are white with splashes of pink and blue.
    The bathrooms have been enlarged and feature separate deep tubs, freestanding rain showers and double sink vanities; all fixtures are by Waterworks.
    Oceanfront rooms located in the Pineapple House are available upstairs with cathedral ceiling or downstairs with balcony or patio. Large, white louvered windows fold back to take full advantage of the view.

    In Room Amenities: All have air-conditioning, telephones, umbrellas, safes, bathrobes, slippers,
    small coffee machine for complimentary Blue Mountain Coffee and tea, hair dryers,
    and an iron and ironing board.
    Rooms are available with either kind four poster bed or two double four poster beds;
    some rooms have connecting doors – configuration is one room with king bed and the other with two double beds.
    * Television and VCR: Not in units but are available for rent.
    Please make arrangements with the Front Desk one day in advance. There are only two local channels available once you rent a television for your room or suite.
    However, in the "Pineapple Room" one can enjoy satellite television featuring all major cable
    and U.S. networks on our 61" stereo television screen.

    Privately Owned Villas and Cottages
    - 27 villas with 74 suites - Villas or cottages contain 2,3,4, or 5 suites/rooms, each with its own entrance and living area (enclosed or semi-enclosed). Size varies and most have spectacular views - all face west.
    There are 23 villas with private swimming pools. Each villa has a kitchen where housekeepers
    cook breakfast for service in separate suites.

    All suites can be rented individually, for a maximum of two couples per villa sharing a pool, or they can be rented as complete villas with a private pool for up to 10 persons.
     Superior Villa Suites (1300 Sq. Ft.) are suites in a villa without pool.
    Deluxe Suites (1400 Sq. Ft.) and Master Suites (1670 Sq. Ft.) have shared pools. Max. occupancy 3 persons (includes an extra bed for additonal charge) and/or one crib.
    All suites are furnished with the following amenities:
    Bath tub with shower or double sinks with separate bathtub and shower; air conditioned bedrooms and ceiling fans, hair dryer, telephones with direct dial, bathrobes, slippers and umbrella, refrigerators in existing kitchen, separate twin beds, double beds or king size beds.
    There is one kitchen per villa, which is used by the cook and housekeepers in order to prepare breakfast which is served in privacy at your verandah, in your suite or garden area.
    Complimentary golf cart service is on call for transfer between villas and the main hotel if required, although most are just a short stroll to the sea.

    Ambiance:
    Days at Round Hill are casual and informal with the emphasis on enjoying Jamaica and Round Hill and the richness both have to offer.     History:
    Originally opened in 1953, Round Hill was conceived by well known Jamaican entrepreneur, John Pringle, whose mother owned and operated the former Sunset Lodge Hotel in Montego Bay. The 100-acre peninsula was part of Lord Monson's Round Hill Estate which was first a sugar plantation and later changed over to coconuts and pimento (all spice) which are still produced today.

    Twenty nine acres were subdivided and prominent American and European socialites were invited to build "cottages" and invest in the hotel. Shareholders have included Noel Coward, Adele Astaire, Bill Paley, Lord and Lady Ednam, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hammerstein, Clive Brook, Jack and Natasha Wilson, the Marchioness of Dufferin and Ava, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tiarks and Viscount and Viscountess Rothermere.
    Original architecture was designed by William Ballard with decor by Guy Roop.
    Round Hill was the first resort of it's kind in the Caribbean.

    The hotel operates on the same basis today with 29 villas being owned by individual "shareholders". When the owners are not in residence the cottages are available for rent either as individual suites or complete two, three, four or five bedroom cottages with or without pool. The club is directed by a Chairman and a Board of Directors elected from the shareholders. Management is headed by the Managing Director.

    The hotel operates in the winter season with a full time staff of 220, about 160 of them having been with Round Hill for over 15 years. Round Hill Hotel and Villas started to operate on a year-round basis in 1989.
